As Aiysha Malik, a Technical Officer at the World Health Organisation’s Mental Health and Substance Use Department, explained “It’s really important to think about mental health as part of the public health response to COVID-19.”

She argued: “People who might be vulnerable to experiencing stress during this time might include people who have preexisting mental health conditions, or substance use conditions, or who might represent other vulnerable groups. We’re not just talking about protection from COVID-19, but we’re also talking about prevention of stress and fear during this event.” Stay save everyone! Follow Government and professionals advice.
